In 'Autumn at Watersmeet' I wanted to capture the great mass of Autumn colour covering the sides of the deep valley.

In 'The Road Through the Woods' the flare from the sun is a flaw, but at the same time adds atmoshpere. I quite like the effect so I have left it in place, though I am sure others will disagree.

'Moorland near Cloutsham' was taken while it was still raining, and shows how moisture can intensify colours.
